This would be tough news for any artist to hear, to learn that your album must be recalled during it’s opening week because of a simple sample clearance issue. It turns out that there is a uncleared Martin Luther King Jr. sample on the album, and since the family estate was unable to come to a compromise with the label, all CDs must be recalled.
